Recently my wife and I have decided to buy a house in Birmingham. The reason for that decision is her friend who told her that right now is the best time to find and probably buy a house. According to my wife's friend, everybody who owns a house in Birmingham and has financial problems will be really glad to put it up for sale.
I finally agreed with her and we started our research on prices of the houses for sale in Birmingham. This plan started with a search in Google and what did we find on the net? There are many houses for sale and I've started thinking that my wife could be right about the idea that it is the time to buy a house.
A few houses have caught my eye. The first one had 8 bedrooms, two reception rooms and 4 bathrooms in a fine white colour, near Edgbaston in Birmingham. This house was open for sale and for about 3 000 000 pounds, which is (I must say it) too much for a house in Birmingham. However, the time is right and with some loans from banks and with my and my wife's savings we can afford it. Even more, after a year or two, even five times the prices for such sale will be far higher.
The next house for sale in Birmingham which I think was a truly outstanding period residence for 2 400 000 pounds. This house for sale has many advantages. Firstly, it is quite near to Five Ways Station, only 0.2 miles from the house. Secondly, it has a beatiful garden and thirdly seven bedrooms, three reception rooms and four bathrooms. The price for the sale is fair, I think.
Of course our research in Birmingham hasn't stopped yet, but those two houses for sale are our best choices. To buy a house is not an easy decision and we have to think a lot before we buy it and this is what we are going to do in the next few weeks. I will write more about this Birmingham experience when we are ready.
